A storm signal did not dare to stop the glitz and glamour last Sunday night.
The Theater at Solaire Hotel and Casino in Pasay City sparkled with magnificent gowns and stunning beauties as the country crowned Miss World Philippines 2015 – its representative to the prestigious and much awaited Ms. World beauty pageant.
This year, a 24-year old from Nueva Vizcaya won the much-coveted crown. Hillarie Danielle Parungao is a crowd favorite and aside from the Miss World Philippines title, she also won 9 special awards.
We are fortunate to have our favorite and resident designer in beauty pageants, Sheryl Vicente to take us to the show’s highlights and inside scoop.
Sheryl designed and created the gown for Third Princess Nicole as she transferred the crown to Ma. Theresa Wright. The distinctive jigsaw puzzle gown in which the details are cut, beaded and hand-stitched is a breath of fresh air in which seems to defy the norm for evening gowns.
Here are some photos for you!
